of Kachemak Bay and a one hour flight seeing tour of Kenai Fjords

Take
an early morning cruise aboard the vessel Seabird to the trails across
Kachemak Bay. Day hiking or overnight camping are a great way to explore
the park. Morning drop offs at Glacier Spit lead you to a leisurely 3.5
mile hike to the lake at the foot of one of the many glaciers in the
Harding Ice Field. Seabird returns to pick you up on the other end of
the trail at 5:00 pm. This is a great hike and can be made by just about
anyone of walking age. Other park trails range from an easy hour long
trek through a temperate rain forest to a vigorous alpine climb above
timberline. The price for round trip water taxi to Kachemak Bay state
